Pacific Rim Planning group is a collection of independent land use professionals that can be assembled to assist with development, city and regional planning, land use feasibility and environmental analysis for a specific project. The group includes civil engineers, architects, surveyors, soil engineers, attorneys, biologist, real estate professionals, geologists, loan brokers, designers and planners.

Managed and coordinated by Pacific Rim Planning Group’s Principal; Jim Weaver, the group’s flexibility allows the formation of a project team to meet the land use requirements of a particular client or project.

Mr. Weaver has over 30 years in the planning and land use field. His extensive knowledge includes experience as the senior planner for Santa Cruz County for 11 years, principal planner for Coats Consulting and Assistant Planning Director for San Benito County.

As the owner and principal of Pacific Rim Planning Group, Mr. Weaver has prepared numerous land use feasibility analysis, project managed and obtained entitlements for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, obtained approvals for wineries, provided expert witness testimony, lectured at colleges, and managed new town developments.

Pacific Rim Planning Group has worked through out the State of California, Hawaii, Washington State and Arizona.  Our ability to grasp and comprehend varying land use regulations and establish a solid ground of communication with government agencies allows us to provide timely service to our clients.
